In 2020, inhabitants of Mead, Nebraska, began to feel sick.
Dogs staggered through the streets. People experienced strange nosebleeds.
The culprit? A nearby ethanol factory had started processing corn seeds laced with the dangerous bee-killing pesticides called neonicotinoids, or neonics for short. The pesticides had contaminated the community's water and soil.
Tell the EPA: No more toxic pesticides in ethanol plants

I personally spoke to the Community Relations Team Leader at the ECMC (the commission that decides on fracking) last week, and she told me they want to hear from us. Showing up means writing letters to the ECMC here is a link, showing up in person and calling when there is a complaint!
Who is doing what?
Busy times! Biggest need right now is funds! STAR just created a sponsorship page for businesses willing to sponsor! Talk to you employer and ask them to match donations from your fellow employees… Focusing on the March 19th LaPlata Hearing. Did you know STAR was the ones who enabled us to get these hearings? Otherwise, there would be no stopping O&G
